St. 爱德华的 University 邮件 Services, managed by Ricoh, provides the campus community with efficient and economical mail solutions and ensures quick and accurate delivery for both incoming and outgoing mail and 包.
邮件 Services are a mission-critical component of university 业务 and student residential living, and we are committed to providing the highest level of care and service to the Hilltopper community.
Ricoh provides the following services: Receiving, 排序, and delivery of employee and resident student mail and 包. Outbound mail services including 美国邮政总局 priority and express mailings, metered mailings, and processing of certified mail.
The 邮件 Services office is located in the Operations Building104室.
邮件 Services delivers incoming mail/包 to the front desks of 特蕾莎修女大厅, St. Andre Apartments, Mary Hill/Hilltopper Heights Apartments, Hunt Hall, Le Mans Hall, and Johnson Hall each day between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday. 邮件/包 received by 邮件 Services before 1:00 PM will be delivered the same afternoon. 邮件/包 delivered to 邮件 Services after 1:00 PM will be delivered the following 业务 day between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM.
Basil Moreau Hall, Jacques Dujarie Hall, 之家, and Casitas 包 will be delivered to the SMART lockers inside the Quick Dip, located in Fondren Hall. Once 包 are checked into the locker system by the 邮件 工作人员, students receive an email to their SEU email with a 6-digit code and directions for how to pick up their package. 学生 have three days (72 hours) to collect their 包 from the SMART Locker system. After 72 hours, 包 are collected and brought to the student’s residence hall front desk. After 7 days, 包 are returned to the sender.
**During high volume/move-in times, please allow up to two 业务 days for mail and 包 to be processed and delivered to the front desk of each apartment/residence hall.
邮件 Services uses the official SEU student residential roster to sort mail and 包. Once a mail carrier (or 亚马逊 driver) delivers mail/包 to the mailroom, 邮件 Services scans each piece of trackable mail into a software program. The software allows 邮件 Services to track when the mail/package is delivered to the mailroom and when it is picked up or signed for upon delivery at an apartment/residence hall front desk or SMART locker. All letter mail/包 must include the first and last name of the student. 邮件 and 包 sent to names that are not listed in the student resident roster are considered undeliverable and will be returned to the sender/shipper.

Fresh Deliveries
邮件 Services can not ensure timely delivery of fresh, time-sensitive deliveries such as groceries, 花, and food service deliveries. 学生 are responsible for arranging the delivery with the delivery service provider. Deliveries should be made directly to the appropriate residence hall and either dropped off at the front desk or outside the door of the hall.
Sending Outgoing 邮件 & 包
邮件 Services offers outbound mail and package services via 美国邮政总局, 联邦快递, and 联合包裹. 邮件 and 包 should be packaged and ready to ship when brought to 邮件 services. 邮件 Services does offer the following free shipping envelopes & 盒子. 邮件 Services accepts payment via Credit, Debit, and Apple Pay. 邮件 Services does not accept cash payments at this time.
Outgoing mail in a stamped or postage-paid envelope can be dropped in the outgoing mail slot in the mail盒子 located in the Quick Dip or brought to 邮件 Services on the first floor of the Operations Building, Office 104.
In alignment with our sustainability efforts and to prevent large amounts of paper waste on campus, 邮件 Services has streamlined the procedure for 排序 the unsolicited mail, or junk mail, 它接收. “Junk mail” is unsolicited, standard mail that is addressed to “Occupant” or “Resident.” Once received from the United States Postal Service (美国邮政总局), the “junk mail” is removed from the delivery process and recycled.
学生 who receive unsolicited catalogs or other unwanted advertising mail can have their names removed from mailing lists by visiting the Data 市场营销 and Analytics (DMA) website.
邮件 Services uses the official SEU employee roster to sort employee mail and 包. All letter mail/包 must include an employee name or a department/office. 邮件 and 包 sent to names that are not listed in the employee roster or are not an official department/division are considered undeliverable and will be returned to the sender/shipper.

Tracking Incoming 邮件 & 包
In most instances, individuals can track their shipped 包 using the tracking numbers provided by the delivery courier (美国邮政总局, 联合包裹, 联邦快递, DHL, 亚马逊, 等.). While 邮件 Services cannot control the amount of time that takes mail/包 to get from the shipper to the mailroom, 邮件 Services can only control how quickly mail/包 are processed once they have been delivered to the mailroom.
邮件 Services 邮件/Package Intake Process
Once your mail/包 arrive at the mailroom, 邮件 Services then scans each piece of trackable mail into a system. This system allows 邮件 Services to track the moment the mail/package was delivered to the mailroom, as well as the moment it was picked up or signed for upon delivery.
Employee Letter 邮件 Delivery
Employee letter mail is delivered to the departmental mail盒子 in the Quick Dip (located in Fondren Hall) at 10:00 AM, Monday – Friday. Employee keyholders are designated for each departmental mailbox. Employee Trackable Letter 邮件, 包, Inter-Campus 邮件, and SEU P-Card Delivery
All trackable (mail that contains a tracking number) employee letter mail, 包, inter-campus mail, and SEU-issued P-Cards will be delivered to the Smart Lockers in the Quick Dip. Upon delivery to the Smart Lockers, employees will receive an email notification with detailed instructions for pickup. 包 delivered to 邮件 Services after 2:00 PM will be delivered to the Smart Lockers the next 业务 day.
If your package is too heavy or big to fit in a Smart Locker, 邮件 Services will contact you via email to arrange for direct delivery.
Sending Outgoing Inter-Campus 邮件
Inter-campus mail can be dropped in the outgoing mail slot in the Quick Dip or brought directly to 邮件 Services. For your convenience, Inter-campus envelopes are provided in the Quick Dip, as well as in 邮件 Services.
To ensure proper delivery, please use the following address format.

Sending Outgoing Letter 邮件 & 包
邮件 Services offers outbound letter mail and package services via 美国邮政总局, 联邦快递, and 联合包裹. 邮件 and 包 should be packaged and ready to ship when they are brought to 邮件 services. 邮件 Services does not sell shipping supplies, but we do stock and offer the following free shipping supplies.
Please note: If you use one of the envelopes or 盒子 listed above, you will need to use the corresponding shipping service. Example: Priority 邮件 and 联邦快递 Express.
Sending Outgoing University Related Letter 邮件
Pre-posted outgoing letter mail can be dropped in the outgoing mail slot in the Quick Dip or brought directly to 邮件 Services. Outgoing letter mail requiring postage will need to have the department area FOAPAL attached or written on the envelope/s in order to ensure accuracy.

Sending Outgoing University-Related 包
包 should be packaged and ready to ship when they are brought to 邮件 Services.

Smart Lockers
All trackable mail and 包 are delivered to a Smart Locker in the Quick Dip for convenient and easy pickup. Upon delivery to the Smart Lockers, employees will receive an email notification with detailed instructions for pickup.
If you are unable to pick up from the Smart Locker, you can forward your Smart locker email (which contains a PIN number to open your assigned locker) to a friend or coworker who can pick it up on your behalf.
After a package is assigned to a Smart Locker, you have 3 days to pick up your package. Once the 3 days have passed, your assigned Smart Locker will expire. 邮件 Services will then collect your package from the expired Smart Locker and return it to the 邮件room. Your package will then be held in the mailroom for an additional 7 业务 days for pick up. If you still haven’t picked up your package after the additional 7 业务 days have passed, 邮件 Services will return your unclaimed package to the shipper/sender.
